Community Guidelines

Overview:

Welcome to the Love Afghan community. The goals of this community are to allow Afghans to connect worldwide and build new friendships and connections in a safe and respectful manner. In order to meet the goals of this community, it’s important for members to feel like they are in a safe place that is populated by people with shared interests. As such, we request that you read and adhere to the guidelines that follow.

Guidelines:

• Treat others on app as you would treat them in real life
• Be tolerant towards others viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align
• Respect the privacy and personal information of other users
• Communicate with courtesy and respect
• Keep your photos classy and appropriate for public consumption. Keep it clean.
• You must be 18 years and older to use Love Afghan. We do not allow images of unaccompanied minors. If you see photos that include unaccompanied minors, please report it immediately.

Please do not:

• Make personal attacks on other community members
• Use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others
• Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members
• Engage or encourage others to engage in any type of abuse or harassment against any other users.
• Engage in physical assault, coercion, and any acts of violence. Such actions are strictly prohibited.

• Engage in hate speech of any kind against any individuals or groups based on factors such as race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
• Publicly broadcast private information, yours or anyone else’s.
• Use Love Afghan to drive people to an external website via a link or otherwise.
• Impersonate or misrepresent yourselves.
• Post copyrighted photos.
• Use Love Afghan to engage in illegal or criminal activities.
• One person may not have multiple accounts.

Use messaging, video calling, and audio calling responsibly. These tools are intended to keep Love Afghan users in touch with one another, to help facilitate friendships and to promote common interests.

Consequences:

We will take action when we see someone violating these guidelines. Sometimes that just means giving someone a warning; other times it means blocking accounts entirely. We request that all community members report behavior that violates our guidelines to loveafghanapp@gmail.com .
